Stop 1: East Cape south beaches
The East Cape of Baja California Sur is known for its great waves during summer, unspoiled natural beauty, serene atmosphere and diverse wildlife. Visitors can explore miles of pristine beaches, crystal clear waters, hidden coves and rugged cliffs.
The area is also home to small towns and fishing villages, where visitors can experience the traditional way of life and sample traditional food. It is also perfect for surfing in the summer, snorkeling, kayaking, or simply relaxing away from the mundane.
Over the course of your time here, you can explore the beaches and chose the best one to spend the night, there are plenty of options along the way. During the day you can surf ( in summer), go snorkeling, paddle boarding and relaxing.

Stop 2: Cabo Pulmo and it's surroundings
As Jacques Cousteau described it “The Aquarium of the world”. Cabo Pulmo is the best example of a community coming together for the preservation of their fertile coastline, thriving coral reefs and marine life; and it’s today one of the most popular places worldwide for Scuba diving and snorkeling. It’s a place to disconnect, take in the natural beauty, and experience the traditional laid-back atmosphere of a fishing village. The waters of Cabo Pulmo are home to an abundance of marine species, including tropical fish, sea turtles, whales and sharks. The coral reef’s lively colors makes any diver’s and snorkeler’s dreams come true.
Besides scuba diving and snorkeling, you will find amazing beaches to spend day exploring and relaxing. To spend the night you will find many alternatives along the way, one we love is Punta Arena marked in the Map.

Immerse yourself in the diverse flora and fauna, experience the tranquility of the mountains, and relax next to the most beautiful oases.
There are numerous ways to explore this area, and I’ve marked a few on the map. Firstly, the Sol de Mayo waterfall offers a delightful day of beauty, swimming, and hiking. Secondly, Rancho San Dionisio comes highly recommended for an overnight stay. The ‘rancho’ boasts scenic beauty, serves delicious local cuisine, and offers picturesque hikes in the surrounding area.
