It’s always nice when Sampers return the car in good shape, inside and outside. We do not require you to return the Sampa completely clean, but if it is exceptionally dirty, requiring difficult stain removal or other special cleaning efforts, we will charge an additional cleaning fee to get it ready for the next Sampers.
Baja California has a wealth of great camping. There are safe private and non private campgrounds on this vast peninsula.

In every town you´ll find an abarrotes store (cheapest option) where you can buy everything you need. There are also big supermarkets like Chedraui, La Comer if you are looking for something more specific.
Our 4×4 Sampas won´t have a problem with that, but turtles might. Driving in the sand can cause sand compaction above nests resulting in lower nest success. Also, ocean tides rise many meters twice a day, so please extra conscious and drive at least 30 meters from the water.
Apart from nature, insurance companies won´t cover any damages that happen off road.
We like to give Sampers the thrill of being all by themselves, creating their own individual adventure. However, if you are in trouble or in need of a hand, we´ll be a phone call away. If no service is available, all trucks have a panic button and we will be there as fast as we can.
First thing you need to know, Baja is not the margarita-fueled party scene in Cabo the world has claimed it to be, instead it is a wealth of natural treasures.
Few things you need to know:
Described by Jacques Cousteau as the “world’s aquarium” .. Yes, you can dive and snorkel along the ocean’s largest fish and rejuvenated reefs. Just google it.. You will see!
Surfers in search of great waves and adventure are flocking to Baja. Why?? Because it has the best waves in the country, and there are so many amazing spots that you won’t have to fight for your next wave.
Are you a kiter, well I am sure you’ve heard of La Ventana, world’s top destinations to go kiteboarding.
Baja offers fantastic hiking trails that will take you through a huge diversity of landscapes. Its geography ranges from beaches and coastal sand dunes to deserts to forests; the peninsula has it all.
Prehistoric cave paintings that have been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Whales! Every winter, Pacific Gray Whales come to Baja to mate and give birth. Approximately 25,000 of them make the annual journey from the Artic to the now-protected waters on the Pacific side of Baja California Sur. The whale-watching season in Baja begins in early February and ends in March.
Food and drinks?
You’ll be eating some of the freshest and most delicious fish and shellfish the world has to offer.
Baja is Mexico’s premier wine-growing region, with most of it produced in the Valle de Guadalupe area surrounding the coastal city of Ensenada.
