Wild Camping
There is absolutely no cell service in Cataviña and the small town itself has one market and a small hotel. The road is often partially washed out so as with anywhere driving in Baja, pay attention to the road.
There are no bathrooms or services of any kind in this area, so bring your own food and water, and pack out everything you bring with you. Always practice the principles of Leave No Trace.

Valle de los Cirios
Known for its unique and towering cirio trees. It’s one of the largest protected natural areas in Mexico, filled with incredible rock formations, diverse wildlife, and a serene, almost otherworldly atmosphere.
