Bahía Magdalena
About Bahía Magdalena
Bahía Magdalena is a 50 km long bay, and about 200 km of lagoons and channels on the Pacific side. It is in between two islands Isla Magdalena and Isla Santa Margarita.
Magdalena Bay is a very healthy and productive marine environment, hosting many species throughout the year, which is why this is one of the best places for whale watching where up close encounters are frequent and let’s not forget its amazing scenery.
*We highly recommend renting our snorkeling gear and kayak for this spot.
Recommended Camping Spots
Playa Near Villas Mar y Arena
Even though Bahía Magdalena is an amazing place to visit, camping here might be hard due to the high tides & strong winds in the afternoon. Which is why we recommend to camp on the beach just next to a place called “Villas Mar y Arena” where you’ll be able to spend the night without worrying about your camp. (Just look the name of the villas on google maps and it’ll take you right to the spot).
